STANDARD TERRAZZO

Diespeker’s standard terrazzo range offers a wide choice of colours, patterns and finishes,
making it suitable for both traditional and contemporary projects.

The material is supplied by carefully selected specialist manufacturers in Italy, whose advanced production facilities
allow terrazzo slabs to be made in different sizes and thicknesses.

The original terrazzo

Terrazzo is a composite material made of moderately small stone chips (like marble, glass, or granite)
embedded in a cement or resin/epoxy binder, ground, and polished for a smooth, durable, and speckled finish.

Standard terrazzo provides an attractive, durable and cost-effective option when a completely bespoke mix is not required. Its consistent appearance also makes it particularly suitable for larger installations where matching across multiple slabs is important.

As well as flooring, terrazzo can be cut and finished for worktops, bar tops, wall cladding, staircases and other architectural features. Diespeker’s skilled team can shape the material with great precision at our London factory using state-of-the-art CNC machinery.

With both cement and resin-based options available, the right terrazzo can be selected to suit the practical and visual requirements of each project. The result is a hard-wearing, easy-to-maintain surface with the distinctive character for which terrazzo is known.

Diespeker’s bespoke terrazzo can be made to virtually any specification.
We use traditional hand casting skills at our factory in London to create bespoke designs.

To get the very best results our skilled craftsmen use traditional hand casting methods.
We can match bespoke terrazzo to any colour, material or pre-existing floor.

Any detail, such as grooves and insets, are introduced to the terrazzo at our factory using state-of-the-art Italian cutting machinery.
Diespeker has created bespoke terrazzo furniture, fountains, lamps, and even a handbag. The possibilities are endless.

Made for your project

Bespoke terrazzo offers almost unlimited freedom when it comes to colour, aggregate, pattern and finish.
Clients can choose from marble, granite, glass and other decorative elements to create a surface that is completely unique.

Our team works closely with architects, designers, contractors and private clients, helping to turn an initial idea into a practical, beautifully finished material. Samples can be developed and refined until the colour, texture and overall appearance are just right.

Once the mix has been agreed, the terrazzo is carefully cast, cured, cut and polished at our London factory. Every stage is closely managed by our experienced craftspeople to ensure a consistently high-quality finish.
